[ Oh God, he just realized how that sounded. ]

No, I mean— I wasn't being morbid— well, technically, I suppose I was being morbid, but I only meant I'm somewhat accustomed to the idea that death is not the end of the line for being a present, talkative member of a family. So perhaps it's less of... of an adjustment in thinking, for me.

He gave us the right. If that's how he feels about us, and it's a responsibility we've chosen to take up in response, I think we do have it.

I hope Doctor Strange figures this out quickly, I'm gonna hate keeping things from him.

We don't know enough yet to tell him anything. All our information is secondhand or even thirdhand.

Once we have a real, concrete understanding of what's happening to him, we can address how to tell him.
