Well, then, perhaps I'd better have a few in the spirit of inquiry.

[ There's a lot of banana chocolate, and vanilla chocolate, and mint chocolate. Most batches have chocolate because that's a comfort flavor. But there are a few ones that are just vanilla, those are decorated with a wolf. For Dief. ]

I know that batch is chocolate-free.

[ Dief is out roaming the woods, but he can have one when he comes back for dinner. ]

I'm sure Diefenbaker will be thrilled.

[ Fraser is cutting one from each of the different batches into quarters so he can try them all, and then he takes the other 3/4 of the banana chocolate to finish. ]

This banana chocolate is really excellent.

[ He takes one of those now that Ben's identified them for him. ]

I think there may already be enough cupcakes here to feed a small army.

Oh—I honestly didn't mean it as a criticism, Andy. I was just impressed. And I'm sure anyone who's been living on the cafeteria food in the Down will be very glad to have these.

I'm not only apologizing for the cupcakes.

You don't think I overreacted really irrationally, and could have definitely approached my anxiety in a more chill way?

I think that if you could have, you would have, and next time you're more likely to be able to, if you think back on this time.

[ Ben makes a bit of a rueful face and tugs Andy closer so he can bury his face in his neck for a moment. ]

I don't think I've done a very good job of making it clear that our relationship is a priority, for one thing.

That's not it. I, well, I'm an idiot, but that aside I just— I just thought— under different circumstances, without Andy with us, I think I'd be okay with going? And I know you'd like to go sailing with the crew of The Terror, like, who wouldn't?

And you didn't say you weren't going by text, so I just spiraled. It had nothing to do with you and everything to do with me playing out increasingly worse scenarios in my head.
