It was nice. I'm teaching a guy how to do flair bar-tending, which is bold of me as I'm not even that good.

[ Andy's set stuff up the way he remembers Bob Ross was set up on TV because he has no other frame of reference. ]

Flair bar-tending?

[ His eyebrows go up in a way that makes it clear that he's asking for a definition. But he seems satisfied with the set-up. It's not quite like Bob Ross's, because Fraser asked for watercolours and ink pens and bristol board, rather than oils or acrylics and canvas, but close enough. ]

You know, bar-tending but flashy. There's juggling involved, you've probably seen me practice.

[ He broke more than one bottle when he first picked it back up, but he's been pretty good lately. ]

Oh, that. You're pretty good at it these days. I'm sure you'll make a fine teacher.

[ He's picking out a pencil to start sketching. ]

Teaching is fun.

[ He's more interesting on watching Ben. He's been curious about the process. ]

You've been finding a lot of opportunities for it.

[ He's starting out by sketching a figure in a series of smooth curving lines. ]

Learning is fun too.

[ Ben's very skilled and it's a huge turn-on. ]

Well, yes, of course.

[ He's drawing Huaisang from memory in swift, light pencil strokes. ]

You're so good at this.

I've been trying to do it a bit more regularly.

Do you memorize every face you see?

[understood]

... many of them.

If I'm distracting you, just tell me. I don't have to be here.

[ He's really into it, though. He hasn't looked away from the canvas. ]

[ Neither has Fraser, but he glances over at that. ]

Oh—no, not at all. I appreciate your company.

People at the studio sometimes get self-conscious about having an audience.

[ Not that Andy's done a lot of work over there recently. He got the supplies but no one was there to charge him. ]

I think it would depend on the audience.

Does that mean I'm good audience?

This is making me wanna get like, body safe finger paint.

[ "Paint your skin with my bare hands," feels too lewd to say out loud. ]

It can be a mutual thing.

[ Only the sound of his own pencil tearing through the heavy weight of paper under it, then snapping, breaks Fraser out of the hungry stare state he falls into at the thought. ]

—damn.

[ His ears are bright red as he hustles to get a fresh sheet. ]

[ Andy's grin is all mischief. ]
