[ Andy leans over the table to kiss him. ]

[ He finishes off his last bit of tourtiere with an almost obscenely appreciative noise, then gets up to begin cleaning the kitchen. After a moment of quiet tidying, he clears his throat, changing the subject. ]

Ah... I believe we were going to discuss the topic of discreet liaisons.

[ Andy finishes his own meal and then helps clear the table. ]

We were, yeah. Is it Faith?

[ This was not the direction he'd expected the conversation to go at this point, since they'd been talking Huaisang over text before he got home, and it immediately flusters him. ]

No, I meant— well, yes, actually, but that's not— I mean— why do you ask?

Got one of those "LET'S TALK ABOUT..." texts from her, sounded like she was into you and I know it's mutual so it was the logical target.

That's not where you were going?

[ It was where he was going, ultimately, but he had intended to take a longer route to get there. ]

Well... it's just that we'd been talking about Huaisang. Over text. Earlier. Before I got home.

[ He keeps adding unnecessarily clarifications as if Andy wasn't part of that conversation out of sheer nerves. ]

And since that was the context in which discreet liaisons had, specifically, come up...

I mean, him too, but I kinda figure if you're gonna risk citations it'll be over someone you're really into, and Faith seems very much your type.

[ Andy's tone is warm and amused. ]

Ray's the love of your life, so he doesn't count. And I'm everybody's type.

I think you're instinctively driven towards other Canadians.

Now, that, I think, is untrue. But I suppose I do have a bit of a type when it comes to women.
