[ Still in the middle of taking his boots off, Fraser calls out as a means of announcing his arrival. ]

[ He has no idea if it'll be tasty or not, but it smelling good is a great sign. ]

And split pea soup. I wanted something to fall back on if I fucked up.

Andy, are you attempting to pander to my Canadian sensibilities...?

[ Rather than offended, he sounds quite touched... if also a bit amused. ]

[ Andy's wearing some rodiculous apron because #aesthetic is important to him. It is stamped with maple leaves.

As soon as Ben is in sight, he stops what he's doing to go kiss him. ]

[ He sweeps Andy into his arms and kisses him thoroughly. There's an ease to his movements that just wasn't there, before they moved. ]

[ Andy was really hoping the move would be good for Ben, and he's very glad he was right.

He figures having named the place The Canadian Consulate doesn't hurt either. ]

I can't believe I'm a househusband now.

Two of my jobs are more capitalized hobbies, they don't count.

[ He's going over to try and sneak a spoonful of soup. ]

[ The soup is very good, Andy's great at following a recipe. There's room for improvement but it's only his first attempt. ]

I'm not even charging Nick to teach him. We're bartering, he gets me spells, I teach him piercing.

[ He's not actually upset, but he does have a timer. He's being very precise about the whole thing. ]

[ It might be an illusion of privacy, but it's nice to be out here, it feels safer. ]
